Doņa L. Keating Elected to
Board of West Sound Technology
Professionals Association SILVERDALE, WA. April 18, 2002 - Doņa L. Keating, president and chief executive officer of Professional Options of the Seattle area, was elected today to the board of directors of West Sound Technology Professionals Association (WSTPA). Keating, 40, has led Professional Options, a leading business, policy and information technology consulting firm in the U.S., since 1995. "We are pleased to welcome Doņa Keating to our board," said Nancy Stump, WSTPA's president and chairman. "Doņa is very active in the local community. In addition to running a successful company, she gives her time to the Regional Telecommunications Committee, Olympic College Business Advisory Board and most recently provided expertise to the Kitsap Regional Economic Development Councils new website. She will be very helpful as WSTPA seeks to achieve its goals." Keating was previously in the legal profession from 1985 to 1996, with law firms such as Kirkland & Ellis, Mayer Brown & Platt, and others. She also previously represented AT&T, MCI Worldcom and Liz Claiborne. Earlier in her career she was in public affairs and marketing positions with American Broadcasting Companies. Keating currently serves on the board of Olympic College Business Advisory Committee. She is vice chairman of Kitsap Regional Telecommunications Committee, and chairman of the Private Sector Committee for Last Mile Solutions, both entities functioning under the umbrella of the Kitsap Regional Economic Development Council. WSTPA is a professional association which addresses a range of at-work technology-related issues, and is committed to the advancement of technology throughout the West Sound region.
